Designing a home can feel daunting, but with the right plan, it doesn’t have to be.
I’m here to guide you through the design journey, starting with defining your Project Objective—what you need from your home, how you want it to feel, and how it should support your lifestyle. From there, we create a Living Plan that maps out your priorities and non-negotiables. Before any furniture layouts or finishes are chosen, we focus on spatial planning: thinking through the flow, function, and feel of every space. With clarity from the start, every decision becomes easier, and your home naturally takes shape around your life, not the other way around.
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed at the start of a project, but it doesn’t have to be that way. With the right plan in place, every decision becomes simpler and more aligned with your vision. Together, we’ll create a design that flows effortlessly and supports the way you want to live, now and in the future.
I help you step back and see the bigger picture, creating a plan that’s built around how you actually live. Through thoughtful spatial planning, we’ll unlock the true potential of your home—making every room feel more connected, intuitive, and effortless to use.
After studying Art History at the University of St Andrews, I began my career working in the arts and events world, including with The Olympia Fine Art and Antiques Fairs. An early opportunity to work alongside David Bentheim, one of House & Garden’s Top 100 designers, had a lasting impact and continues to influence how I approach design today.
Now based in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, I work on residential projects of all sizes, always beginning with one essential question: how do you want to live? That’s where the design journey starts. We begin by setting a clear Project Objective, defining how your home should function, how it should feel, and how it can support your day-to-day life. From there, I focus on spatial planning: how each room flows, connects, and works together as a whole.
I’m particularly drawn to period and listed properties, buildings with history, character, and detail. It’s a privilege to help them evolve in a way that respects their past while making them feel effortless for modern life.
I believe we never truly own a home. We’re simply its guardians, doing our best to look after them before passing it on to the next generation. My role is to guide you through this process with clarity and care, encouraging you to be bold where it matters and calm where it counts. I design in a considered way, creating spaces with depth and personality, knowing when to keep things simple and when to layer in beauty through fabric, colour, and collected pieces that bring the old and new together.
